help identify this cartridge

    This cartridge and stylus was my fathers and we dont know what it is or what its worth, we need to sell it now as he has gone to the big listening room in the sky! Can anyone help. The Gyro dec and zeta arm attached to it are for sale as well if anyone is interested. Cheers

    That sort of looks like my old Shure M95 body with something else stuck to it. Wow..that took me back to the good old times. I had a Michell Focus 1/ AT tonearm and this M95. I did try a VMS20e back then but didn't like it. I also tried a Grado something or other with some tacky stuff near the magnets BUT destroyed that trying to take the stylus off.

    have you tried taking it off the head ?...to see if there's any scribble that would identify on the cartridge topside.

    No, I didn't say it might be a Grado, just back in the 'oldie' days, when I had a Shure M97 I also had a 'Grado' which I killed!!!

    if you look at the link ...the cart in the picture is exactly the same as the photo ..what more does one have to do ?
