    Hi guys,

I'm looking to purchase my first decent system and I'd like some experienced views and advice on options/pairings.

I am looking for a rich and powerful, normal sized room filling sound (in as much as my budget allows).

I am looking at either the Monitor Audio Silver 100's / Dynaudio Emit M20's / B&W 606's for the speakers

I'm still researching the amps so would welcome any insight on that front.
Want something powerful enough to satisfy occasional ear damaging volumes ha ha

I may add a sub in time so that would be a consideration in amp choice.

    Thanks in advance

If I have to choose from those 3, this is how I'll rank em.

    1st choice - Dynaudio Emit M20's
    2nd choice - Monitor Audio Silver 100's
    3rd choice - B&W 606's for the speakers

This is just my personal opinion.

    Thanks for the reply.

Any reasons you rank them like that? It's how they are ranked in my head at the moment as well but o have no actual experience of them and no way to audition them before I buy.

I actually based my ranking with the help of reviews I've read about each product, the price point and the brand's history of good products.

Yeh that's the same for me. I had a mate recomend MA to me as he used to own a pair back on the day but those M20's have caught my eye.

I'm going to go with one of them

The amps to drove them seem a more complicated choice.
