Help - strange things on my PC

got a wierd thing happening.... every few mins an MS-DOS prompt appears on my desktop (I'm still running win 98) entitled DUCINS~1 and then disappears.

I can't find any programs with this or a similar name on my machine or any reference to this on the web. I've run Norton AV with latest updates and Ad-Aware SE latest update and they are not picking anything up.

Any ideas what this is? Its only started happening today and its scaring me!
 
being DUCINS~1 it would mean that DUCINS is only the first part of the fil name to do a search for DUCINS*.*
 
tried that... nothing found. also searched registry for it, again nothing.
If this was a virus I'd expect to find some info on this on the web but all you get searching on it is bio-chemistry stuff.
