Many of the hi-fi magazines come under attack these days, seen increasingly as comics not catering for a very changed market.
HFN was always a favourite in the early days but had became increasingly stale until recently IMO.
These days it really reminds me of the better days for hi-fi mags, with some good investigative articles and no fear of giving a bad review when deserved.

Keith Howard and Jim LeSurf are both excellent and well worth reading, and the current issue looks at the con of hi resolution downloads that aren't, and some good work on jitter. Plus some good retro stuff on Jim Rogers and the 149 speaker.
