After a weekend of doing endless A/B comparisons of my tranny amp vs my valves, i've decided that for "my style" of listening, I prefer my solid state power amp to my valves.

I've decided therefore, with heavy heart,to sell my 6 week old Prima Luna ProLogue 6 monoblocks, purchased brand new from Guildford Audio.
I'll list them on *bay next week, anyone interested, please PM me.
I paid £1576 on August 11fth for them.
I've decided to keep my Alchemist Forseti signature s/s power amp.
    JJ.
    UK listers preferred please.

Sorry to hear that PC - 6 weeks is long enough for it to be a 'done deal' - but the Guildford Audio guy is a fine chap indeed - have you contacted him about it?

No point really, not his problem or his fault , bought them with my eyes wide open.
Have decided to cut my losses and flog them.
Happy (!) to take a dip to move them on.

Well, yes, I can see it's a bit embarassing. And, no, it's not his problem. But he might be able to move them on more easily than you and give you a sensible price for them.

You could phrase it along the lines of "decided it's not for me, have you any suggestions for the best way to move it on?". You know, the subtle approach!

I've met Trevor - IMO you won't find a more reasonable or accommodating dealer.
