OK - I've turned this option on to see how it goes. It means you can use the IMG tags in your signature. I would ask that you use it sensibly and be reasonable. It doesn't of course add bandwidth to the server but large (in dimensions or file size) images in signatures can make the board slow to read and very distracting.
Let's say it's a trial period. If it becomes abused then I'll switch it off again :spank:
