imagine my surpise ...

"imagine my surpise "...

..I'm not surprised you were surprised; id have htought it quite distracting, therefore potentially quite dangerous......!?

yOU got the pics well though. :)

(was he having a disco in there or what?)

What camera was that?

cheers - all pics are mine...not sure what pic you mean - as that url points to a set.... :)

labelled as "used else where"...

but looking again there some corkers in there (IMO).....have you done this for a living or soemthiing?

ah yeah, I don't do it for a living - tho, a couple of local rags use my pics (free of charge - I don't mind tho) but I made a few bob selling some of the wolsingham explosion ones tho...

I love taking pics - you could call it a passion!

yep, just had a quick look

what exposure were you using for the water fall?

yeah, with the following pic -

you will see on the right handside text like the following -

and you can click on the 'More properties' link and this brings up the Exif data...
the above pic was used by placing the camera on a rock and therefor the shutter speed isn't that slow - 0.2 sec (1/5).

this pic -
http://www.flickr.com/photos/weardaleone/898194531/in/set-72157601007632991/

was also placed on a post and the shutter speed is - 1 second...

hope this helps!
:)

whoops yes, forgot about the data!!

:D

i'm still in film land!!

(no, i use a digi)

0.2 sec sounds slow to me!!

I'd never get away with that without a tripod.....and fequently haven't!

its ineteredting to see the effect yo've got though.....Looks good....I'll remember that.

thinking about this, i'm always stumped because i never have my tripod with me at th right time. My Dad has a little 6" one......might be quite usefull I guess

yeah, I've got a cheap tripod - but I always forget it...but I often use whatevers around - like rocks, fences etc...! normally has the desired effect, but the pics are sometimes a bit wonky etc...!

just looked at the two pics above....have you hought of showing them at all mr C.?

do you edit them in adobe...or other?

yeah, I like to walk where I live - would do that most nights if I could - then then why don't I..? weather I think..!
I wanna document every village in weardale...I know it sounds sad, but I just wanna do it... :)

I sometimes use photoshop elements 4 to adjust the exposure level - depending on weather they're a bit dark or bright...

I just have the pics on view in flickr - but I've got links to them from various websites in durham / weardale...plus my local rag (wear valley mercury) sometimes use them...
