Get the coolest portable music device in the best car(s) in the world :p

All I can say is, Apple know their cars :)

Who knows, maybe Mercedes will come to an arrangement with Matsui to integrate their portable CD players :D

    Michael.

    michael,
if bmw's are the ultimate driving machines why do their indicators never work? perhaps they can retrofit the ipod interface and while they're at it fix the indicators.
    cheers

Excellent :D and we could also why the steering causes the cars wobble between lanes so violently at high speed and why the headlights flash on and off randomly during the day

Oh wow, "integrated adapter" is it? BMW have reinvented the 3.5mm jack plug?

You've obviously never heard a BMW straight six at high revs. Who needs HiFi, iPod or whatever in a car when the engine makes such fantastic music?

BMW don't fit indicators to their cars because they thought the rest of the drivers would have the common sense to get out of our way. Obviously they didn't realise how stupid the other drivers are :p

    dev,
the last bmw m3 (newest) i heard sounded like a bag of spanners in a washing machine on spin cycle. now to some, such as sideshow bob or those with mf amps, this may be music but to those who aren;t slightly mad it sounds 'orrible ;)
    cheers

I don't have a BMW or an Ipod and don't want either, but for owners of Ipod and other cars there is an alternative, http://www.dension.com/main.php?pageid=50&topid=42 more like a mobile phone kit don't know what it costs, but if you've wasted £300 on an ipod then cost is irelevant i suppose.

Oh, the good old Mana jibe. Properly set-up Mana sounds perfectly natural. If it sounded 'off' in any way, shape or form, no-one would buy it, and it would never have got all those rave reviews.

Unless they have the 4 cylinder kompressor engines - which sound uncannily like a 1989 1.3 Ford Fiesta engine - quite horrible (but very torquey in fairness).

The BM straight sixes do sound nice but the little 2.4 V6 in my wife's new Audi A4 has to be the smoothest, sweetest sounding engine I've heard in a long while.

    Matt.
