For Sale: Klipsch Heresy IIIs SOLDI am having to sell my brand new pair of KLIPSCH HERESY III speakers. These are in black finish with risers, so they can be placed on the floor. I bought them for another system, which was going to be based around a low powered SET. Unfortunately I failed to apply for the necessary planning permission before buying them and then having run them in on my main system, decided to move them, but got refused! On recommendation I have removed the risers and put them on Atacama SL 600 stands so they are at ear height. How do they sound? Well simply quite amazing, I have been using them with my KR Audio VA340 and they have made every type of music just come alive. As they are 99db they need very little power to get them going, and I would have thought that a handful of wpc would be more than enough. I did some research into sensitive speakers and found Klipsch in the US. I felt that the Heritage range was where I wanted to go, and the only speaker that was suitable for size was the Heresy III. I contacted Klipsch in the US to ask abut buying them in the UK. Two days later I got a call from Graham Haines, who explained Klipsch in the US had given him my details, and he was setting up a UK sales channel. I told him I wanted to buy a pair of Heresy III and he organised it for me. It took about 3 full days of playing before the speakers started to sound really good as they loosened up. Unfortunately they are a little bit bigger than my Focal Micros, which I had not realised where the benchmark size that would acceptable. I naturally have all the boxes and I have not even opened the two black envelopes that came in the speaker packaging.
