Krell KAV-400xi

how would this compare to bc ref 1000 monoblocks in terms of power output.
would the krell drive a b&w 804 better?

hifinutt: I'm surprised that you'd have difficulty with those REF1000s. The Krell is 200WPC into 8 ohms and doubles to 400WPC into 4 ohms. I used the Krell with B&W 805 to great effect, and I'm sure it has more than enough grunt for the 804 to very loud levels indeed.
