Another regretful sale: My lovely Linn Komponent 110.
A most beautiful speaker both in sound and looks. Even my fussy wife likes the look of these! Unfortunately my 2-year old monkey has commandeered the area which it lives so these are tucked away unused in a corner of the house at the moment.
Now, I have had many speakers in the last 27 years, from Lowthers and active Tukans, to most recently ATC Actives 10a, various Harbeths, a Dali and, lately, new QLN Model Ones. Felt the QLNs were the best up to the point where the Linns came in (bought ex-dem from Linn dealer in Eton). These have asuperb top end and "just disappear" - the music is effortlessly holographically presented, especially with my Inca Design Talon amp. See Linn site for technical details.
The Linns have some minor scuffs on the cast iron bases, though nothing major. Have original boxes, but I don't have the wall brackets (which may have been optional extras). They are very heavy and boxes are both large so collection from Reading, UK is preferred. I can deliver if close by.
Total bargain at £395, which I understand is a third of their original UK selling price.
