    FS : Linn LP12/Akito/Lingo - Provisionally SOLD

    For sale my LP12.

I am the 2nd owner of this deck which I bought about 7 years ago. Once bought it was brought up to spec with upgrades to Cirkus bearing, which included new springs, sub-chassis and armboard. Also added at the same time was the Lingo power supply which is the MK1 version in the slimmer box. The dust cover was also new at this point and replaced the darker original cover.

the Akito is also a MK 1 as far as I am aware.

The upgrades/service was performed by the The House of Music in Leamington Spa (I think this is no longer there and is just a B&O dealer now).

The Akito has paint chips where the cartridge bolts have been and slight marks where the arm lock has been in place - the cartridge tags are ok but have been through a bit of wear.

I have the orginal felt mat but currently use a silicon mat which was bought from SRM off ebay - I also have a Ringmat which I'll throw in as well - assuming I can find it.

Looking for £600, the cart in the picture is a Denon DL304 which is currently residing in its box and I'll add this in for an extra £50 if wanted (it has about 200 hrs use).

I do not have the box so would prefer collection as I would not want it to get damaged in transit.

    Picture in the attachment.

Has this been sold, or is it still for sale.

If it is, what is the serial no. Also is that 200hrs left on the cart, or 200hrs use.

    Thanks

    David

    The deck is provisionally sold.

Not sure of the serial number - I'm working away from home this week so couldn't check until the weekend.

The cart has had about 200 hrs use.

As far as I know I'm the 2nd owner of the deck. I would say by the staining of the outer platter and the old style fluted plinth it is quite old.

The cirkus/lingo upgrade was performed at the same time about 5 or 6 years ago after I had owned the deck for about a year.
