I hope Marco will make the linear supply ( he is designing a supply for the new DACS) and I am having made a rechargeable lithium ion battery supply, should be interesting to compare, vb Keith.
 
Indeed! Had a look at Bolder ones but they're bloody expensive! Any idea on rough price for the psu? And the Evo's £250?

Evo is £250, battery should be about £65 including charger, linear you can get from Maplins for £9 or £200 from paul Hynes, agree with you about SSD,very quick very quiet.
Have you listened to the MSB, I used to import them,

Not yet, waiting for Mark at AE to give us a ring back. One thing that went through my mind was the possibility of getting the 2 side by side down at AE. Might be good coverage for the 202 and probably easier to organise than getting the 2 units side by side in my living room....

Have you tried a different psu for the mini yet? Seems to be the new hot topic of debate.....
 
I use a MBP through it's battery option, I read your article on the OCZ ssd's Chris recommended those drives to me.
You might like the MSB everything is floated on cotton wool, pleasant enough.
