Mains Filter Question

    Can anybody help me???

    I have all the components for the Triode Systems design line filter, and I have a question about the capacitors. I bought my capacitors from Maplin, and they're Y2 (X1) type. Maplins say that they are suitable for connecting across the line and line to earth. Is this definitely so???

    yep, they are OK for using across mains.
