I wonder what naimophiles did b4 fraims and mana from heaven?:D :duck:
Easy, The accepted support was the Sound Organisation table and later the rack. The really serious men put each component on a seperate SO table with the pre, Hi Cap and power all as far apart as the interconnects would allow. As serious men only had a turntable, it was usual to have 4 seperate tables.
Are you sure , Tony? "Balance of Terror" was the take-off of the classic Robert Mitchum/Curt Jurgens sub hunt film "The enemy below". Scotty didn't have to change anything in that, in fact I don't know whether he appears very much. Having said that, I don't know in which one it was said - must ask the daughters tonight. P.S. Found it - "The Naked Time". The full quote is, "Ya can't change the laws of physics! I've got to have thirty minutes!"
No guys, sorry, It was pure play on words, balance of terror is one on one mono a mono, Mana V's friam "were a mile down, almost solid Iron, and even through our deflectors it did this", yes mana can have this effect too
Between this and the train spotting thread, things are looking pretty geeky! Never mind, they'll grow outta it
