My mums not got out of bed for 6 days she has it really badly. I think I have escaped it but I have been very tired and sleepy, I am generally spending 12 hours a day in bed and imagining to do jobs inbetween.
Aren't xmas colds the worst, they spoil it totally, can't even have a drink beacuse you feel like crap and are medicated up the eye balls
Just getting over mine, had a tickly cough which meant most of xmas I couldn't sleep as lieing down started it off instantly, and I also couldn't drink as the natural dehydration caused by alcohol made it 10 times worse :inferno:
It seems to have moved up my throat and into my head. Blocked ear and nose with lots of sneezing. I'm getting a wee bit bored sitting about.
New years resolution was to get in shape (again!!!), but seeming as I'm in no fit shape to be doing that, I guess it would be for the best to make sure I eat all the junk food in the house so I can make a clean start when I'm feeling better?
there is a man flu test.
if there is £20 on the floor and you have man flu , you will pick it up. if you really have flu you won`t be able to pick it up.
i just read a book from readers digest called home remedies, if you have, or anyone has a copy please look at the page of common cold and flu remedies, i kidd you not , all those medical profesors agree that the best cure is sex, what i dot agree with it says at least once a week, i think there is a missprint there somewhat i say old chap, not daily?
nando.
I'm due back in work on thursday and don't feel any better. It just seems to move about from throat, nose, ears....
Infact, I'm currently runny nosed, coughing and all I can hear out my left ear is a constant hiss (like radio interference) and when it's quiet, the sound of my own pulse going BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!
It's not so much the feeling ill, but the fact it's near impossible to get a decent sleep like this.
Poor poor me!
Sure whenever I've had a cold/flu of sorts I've shook it off in a few days at most.
Trying to keep active and not bed ridden, but I'm out of breath constantly.
