Having now moved kit onto a set of Hutter, I've this classic black number to sell. I've given Dunkyboy first option, and he's mulling it over and will come back with answer in the next couple of days. I'm not in a rush, but will feel the force of SWMBO sooner rather than later, so I would like to find a buyer for the weekend!!

[edit: RRP is £615.00. saw it for sale s/h for £400 last month]

I'd love to get £300 but would settle for less, especially if collection/delivery is straightforward (Duncan lives close by), so expressions of interest please.

Its in good condition and does what is said on the tin ...

I'd love to express an interest but am now having to put this type of 'non essential luxury item' purchase off until just after crimbo now . Santa and the family comes first now I'm afraid, poor old Dad's needs (;) ) are now a very low priority.

oops. S&C, I still have that PM from you. I'll go read.

[EoI noted. I would be happy to seal a deal for later. In fact, that's what I did for the Hutter.]

amp stand looks like this:

I have only ever used it as a stand-alone stand. I was happy with it. You could be happy too.

Its manufacturer says "you can "reference" an amplifier/system stand to enhance the performance of the component on the top shelf, and place the whole stand on one or more Sound Stages to the benefit of all the components it contains. "

cross my palm with silver and gold, and you can own and have benefit of a classic hifi black ...

I'm sure my old metal work teacher could knock one of those up... ;)

Mr Cat - pl get off this FS thread. Its a 'for sale' thread not a banter thread - unless you and your teacher are in business together selling these, in which case its a different type of spoil.

PeterS, an unconsidered answer to your quick question risks lots of folk jumping in with opinions and funnies, altho some will have considered judgements, many much better than my own.

IMHO, its a hifi equipment stand that
a) is capable of stacking 4 pieces of hifi kit
b) is small/compact
c) has isolation spikes
d) is geared/deisgned to reduce unwanted effect on each piece of kit from vibrations from other pieces of kit and from the speakers/floor
e) reputably helps bring out a tonal effect, as it uses glass shelving.

As seller, I can warrant a-c, commend (d) and remain neutral on (e) - probably because this is only a 4-tier amp stand.

For me, it did what I wanted. But having bought the Belcanto Evo4, which is big, I needed something else, and my partner liked the Hutter, which is wood and more expensive.

PeterS, if you want a 'richer answer', pl start a thread with your question on the main bit - but then stand back as discussion of Mana on ZG comes with baggage!!

I know of other users of Mana that keep this quiet as they do not want to have to side with one or the other of the camps.
