What kind of price are you looking for? And whereabouts are you based?

When you say dead, do you mean no "power" light, or just nothing appears to play?
Might be obvious, but if theres no power light showing, might simply be a plug fuse.
Im not trying to insult your intelligence pointing that out, but in the ensuing panic of finding kit not working, some people overlook the simplest thing.

it's not the plug fuse, there just seems no power there at all
hi myles i am near bolton wigan area north west as for price i'm not sure but it must be worth something for the parts so i dunno £50 collected i would imagine some one in the know could get it working quite easily and then you would have a decent very cheap amp

Id rather you got it sorted yourself than I take it and fix it for a profit. (And Im so far away it would cost a bomb to send!) I think you should have a look at the power supply, get someone who has a multimeter to buzz out the input and output, because hopefully there will be no output and therefore you could just contact Marantz to find out about the PSU prices/availability. Just googled this http://www.fixya.com/support/t409652-marantz_pm_7200
