For sale, my Meridian 500 transport.
This is an excellent CD transport and was "flea" clock modded by MartinC last year. The clock mod made a very good and obvious improvement to the sound.
As a transport it's silky smooth in operation and sounds ace. The serial number is 500 202803.
I don't have a remote, but I understand it's a standard philips control system. Personally I've been using a Marantz learning RC with it.
Whilst I'm not sure, I believe it's a mk2, as it has AES/EBU outputs in addition to the standard coax and optical SPDIF.
I'm selling as I've gone down the SB+ route and am happy to accept a small decrease in sound quality for the functionality of the SB.
Looking for £360. Happy to dem, based in south London.
