Mine's bigger than yours...

They were taking the piss. The snake in the article is a reticulated python, the largest snake in the world (that size being uncommon btw, theyre not usually THAT big). The anaconda would rarely get to the size there, let alone the size in the film.

Could be, but i doubt it. The fact i am a mutant is only due to the fact my ex-band was called Mutant, and i was a cog in that machine.
