It is a later SE model featuring all current Signature model components (less the tube-rectified power supply): latest MWI caps on the output board, Teflon caps, poly-capped PS & precision metal film resistors. It is just under 2 years old. I have bought it from Sense of Music, Netherlands.
By default 9.0SE uses high quality parts throughout, including FRED and Schottky diodes, metal film Vishay resistors, ceramic tube sockets.
Currently it is singing with Tung-sol valves ââ'¬â€œ very low noise & solid-state like! I had chosen this Pre over the EAR 864 in a shootout! You will be having to spend a lot more £££ to better Modwright's performanceââ'¬Â¦ Some great reviews can be found at:
