Bought the Elbow cd, popped it in the car system and was very surprised how 'lively' and dynamic the sound was.
Got home played over hifi, start reading sleeve notes and tucked away at the back the 'turn me up' logo.
    Great cd , great sound.

Vicar ST you say eh? Thats quite an intimate venue. I saw David Sylvian there a while back and was practically sat up his nose.

I am liking the elbow stuff but can't help thinking that the latest one they play on the Radio sounds like a Peter Gabriel track. I can't for the life of me remember which PG though.

It's on a Monday night though which a real bummer night to go out and do anything.

I know what you mean re. the PG connection. Is it the track "Darkness" of his last album.

Can't wait for Amazon to deliver Elbone on vinyl.
I might even take the day off work :)

btw - did anyone catch the session the did for Mark Radcliffe a week or so ago? They managed that big hairy riff from Grounds on a harmonica - priceless!
