    Anyone use mouse pads for isolation? Results / thoughts? Cheers.

    I have hundreds of traditional mousepads in my garage, the ones with faom backed plastic, pm me if anyone wants them, postage costs only

    I had the common, dense, rubbry foam pads, with the fabric top, in mind, but I'm open to suggestions.

    Have you tried them anywhere ?

    You could try two shhets of 6mm mdf , and make a sandwich with the mouse mats makeing certain "you butter upto the edges" . This then acts as an energy sink if placed below a CDP or amp.

    I find mouse mats (esp with a slab of granite on top) good for damping casework.
