my favourite track ,

Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is on constant repeat.

Thanks! I'd never heard of them, but I do like them very much!

Did you see this video? Jade Castrinos looks like she's on something, but that only makes the song happier :D

Nando- Hi. For one, I think Island is commendable for its selection of artists and sound quality. They have been at the avant garde in the industry with artists like Marianne Faithful and PJ Harvey- whose idea was it to hook up MF with Barry Reynolds(?)- Bob Marley and Bruce Cockburn. Noticed above that you had worked there so just thought I would say that. And who can forget Robert Palmer's hits, recordings from Stevie Winwood, Grace Jones, John Martyn, etc? Cheers.

thanks for that, i tried not to mentioned bob, as i did worked with a master, reason: if i was to get into island artistes the forum will not have suficient memory, greg issacs, leroy wallace, burning spear, and i could go on and on, yes those were the days, as for robert palmer, a gentleman who had a great musical talent,
regards,
nando.

No.Some of my favorite music contains social or political views and statements totally contrary to my beliefs. Doesn't mean I agree with or support what the message of the song is. Good music is good music if you like it.

same here, i grew up with roots, radics, and heavy words from rastas on views of their minds, i always listen to words first and when they comunicate with what i feel, then the players of instruments are always there,
