Wow!

I went to Blockbusters and could not see a good film anywhere in the new releases. There were two copies of this at the bottom of a shelf though. Not very promising but it was Quentin Tarantino so it would be funny if it wasn't good.

Anyway I don't know what it was but the story was captivating the whole way through. Maybe it was good acting, good dialog I dunno. I just really enjoyed it.

A group of bad guys kill a casino boss and then go to rob it. A woman who takes care of a lot of stuff there is stuck in the middle with her fellow workers and the whole film is mainly the relationship between this woman and the main bad guy. Stuck in one room but a few flashbacks and stuff. Sounds crap but its really superb. Apparently it was shot in only 18days as well!

It is based on a comic novel series and is kind of like a prologue to the original story's so it won't even **** off the fans lol!

Highly recommended.

in pulp fiction the book that vincent vega (john travoltas character) was reading was 'the impossible virgin' - a modesty blaise novel.
cheers

Well I thought it was good... I showed it to my friend and he thought it was 'good, but not great'

i bought it for a few quid and thought it was pretty ok. i tried to get hold of the original 60's movie with terrence stamp but any where that has it wants too high a price.

Just looked on Blockbuster Online and it's not even available there - shame that as I'm intrigued now. Will look on ebay
