My system!

Registered just today so i thought i would list my system.I would be interested in your opinions!
Naim cd3.5 with old style High cap
Icon audio mc-34a integrated valve amp (EL34's)
Nakamichi bx-125e tape deck
Quad FM II valve tuner
Audio Note AZ2 speakers
Nordost/audio note/Kimber mains cables
I love the powerful sound of the 3.5 cd player combined with the valve amplification.Any one else here partnered Naim source with valve amps?

is the "My kit thread" might wanna stick your kit there aswell.
I imagine the valve gear adds some nice sonics to the naim CDp.
Im considering a valve pre myself, but not tried naim CDp's

welcome chris, nice system you've got there. quite a few people have done as you do and run a naim cdp into valve amps, not sure if anyone else on zg does but i'm sure there is a good synergy there.

thanks for your replies ,I am trying to get used to using a forum first time really! too much time in front of hi-fi very little time on PC!.Penance, you say you are getting a valve pre, do you have a valve pwr amp or are you 'mixing'?I bought a valve amp as i didn't like Naim amps in my price range though I've heard their highend amps and theyr'e awesome.
