NAD C320 and C270 Bi-amp

    Hi,

    I have just bi-amped my Nad C320 and Nad C270 to my Mordaunt Short Avant 916i speakers. Or at least I think I have. I've removed the speaker links and I am using the 320 to drive the high frequency on each speaker and the 270 to drive the low frequency. I don't have a great ear, so I was expecting either no improvement or a modest improvement. Instead it sounds noticeably worse, awful even, and the system is no longer driving the mid-range drivers on the 916's.

    I wondered if this was because the C320 and C270 are not exactly matched, or if this is something to do with the speaker that i have overlooked?

    I'd be happy to hear from anyone with more experience in bi-amping than i have, which I'm sure will include most of you on this site :).
