ah, just worked out what "unwinding, john ?" means - neighbour looks over fence and sees john (aka ozzy osbourne) shooting chickens, iirc.
 
makes me laugh every time. the fact that the person who said it was some aristo lady something or other iirc makes it even funnier - just like something out of a tom sharpe book.
