    Hiya guys,

Hoping someone can help. I'm trying to garner opinions on a Hi-Fi my Dad's wanting to buy for his living room. He has a budget of about £400, which he can stretch to £450 for the right stuff.

He's looking for a mini/micro system which has DAB, MP3 and CD (preferably MP3 CDs). Am open to suggestions for systems, separates (mini separates??) and speakers, so any and all advice will be very welcome. Unfortunately I have pretty minimal knowledge about Hi-Fi and just going into a shop to ask is pretty much an open invitation to be sold stuff you don't need!

Many thanks in advance for any help :)

A brilliant all in one is the Onkyo cs-515 DAB £300 from John Lewis or cheaper if you look around.

He's now gone for a Denon DF102 and some Wharfedale 9.1 speakers ... hopefully he'll be happy with it all :D
