New power supply for Linn LP12

Hi.
Has anyone heard the new RADIKAL motor for the LP12. I suspect that it is a marketing ploy, using a commercially available DC motor (airpax, premotec etc), OL esque circuit and a fancy packaging. Am i cynical????

Actually it is a Maxon Re-Max motor, and the controller
circuit is very unlike OL's.
