It is difficult to believe the last major audio show held in Northern Ireland was back in 2000. In those intervening ten years all those potential buyers of specialist audio/video equipment have had to make a trip to the UK mainland or even further afield, to visit one of the many specialists' shows held there. Which for the Northern Irish audio community has left them somewhat out on a limb? However, after 10 years in the wilderness there is now a new audio event on the calendar. The Northern Ireland Audio Show (NIAS), organised by a team with a fresh approach to promoting Northern Ireland not just a great place to hold a HiFi exhibition, but as a fantastic place to visit for all of the family. The show will take place on Saturday the 6th to Sunday 7th of November 2010. This independent show is being organised by Gr8 Events UK; which will include some of the very best two channel audio (stereo), Home Cinema, and Custom Install products from leading manufacturers and distributors from all over the world. NIAS is being held at the Stormont Hotel just minutes away from Belfast City Airport and set in a leafy suburban setting over looking Belfast's Royal Mile and gardens leading up to Stormont Parliament Buildings, the seat of Northern Ireland's government. The Stormont is superbly equipped and relaxed venue, with a dedicated conference facility and many years experience in holding all kinds of events, not least the last Audio show held in Northern Ireland.
