Just thought i'd give this thread a little bump.

Now, i discovered North West Analouge through this very thread and due to the local proximity i got in touch. I needed a Kuzma TT and arm (that i bought through this very site, now that was a experiance in it's self, i won't say no more on that ) looked at. Anyway to cut a long story short, i was bowled over by his knowledge and even more so by his can do attitude, freindly nature and total enthusiasim. The job he did was beyond good, he went above and beyond any service provider i've ever had the pleasure to deal with. On the back of the work he did for me, my father has used Dominics services initailly on a Project Prospective, and then on a Michell Saturn Transcriptor (that was in a tired and dusty state). One word, unbelivable. Just check the gallery pics on their website for visual proof. I fully recommend North West Analouge to anyone.

I have no connection to the buisness what so ever apart from finding it on this forum.

Was that Kuzma a bit off Conisby? Mine needed a new bearing when i bought it 2nd hand cost about £40 form Audiofreaks, though you need to put a rocket up their arse to get them to do anything for you.

"Off" is a word you could use, im trying to be diplomatic and in all honesty the seller came through and we worked it out to a happy conclusion (got back half the money i paid). But it was in a sorry state. The arm is going back to Kuzma for life saving surgery (don't know what had happend to it, but it certainly was not as described, unless i missed the bit about it being involved in a road traffic accident).

Did someone mention Branco (Audio Freaks), well thats a differant story all together, i know he can be a tad difficult. But, i had a few exchanges with him and the outcome is that he won't deal with me at all now. Luckily, Dominic at North West Analouge has stepped in and been the middle man (which he did not have to do, but he is doing at no gain for himself, top man). I'll shut up now before i go off on one !!

Branco, yeh waste of space. His loss really as when I moved mine on I then upgraded to an SME 10 and V arm. I would have had the 2nd hand reference that he had in stock if he hadn't been such a complete loss. In the end I only got the new bering by forcing his hand by talking to Franc Kuzma directly- who was genuinely a pleasure to deal with.

Glad to hear you've found someone local with the skill and foresight to help you out, good dealers, especially technically skilled ones are a breed apart. It'll be worth it though they are exceptionally good sounding decks once they are fettled.
