just by chance while cleaning up my ancient cabinet full of leaflets of the 70's hi-fi show that was held at OLYMPIA hammersmith, carefully going through them and it brought to me a wonderfull return to the past so i put them all in a pile and went to my local for a pint upon my return all those wonderfull leaflets dissapered never to be gotten back as someone"not to mention" gave them to the dust cart, amongst them was a picture of me with J.R. and his wonderfull speakers and what i first saw and heard was his first subwoofer, what looked like a beer one,
there goes my nostalogia..........

eh, i think that all those days and memories will never die, nostagia is a part of the memory that can not be erased, i agree with you it is not what it used to be, shame,

Well just look to the future now. Do you think the 70's was the best for music as there were so many genera's coming through and hi fi was that better then?

Jim.

hi, te word better i don't think is an issue, nor music as such i mainly grew up with a lot of vives, mainly reggae, in the 70's yes i think hi-fi was better for the simple reason it was a hobby and a warmer attitude to us young ones, and a reasonable price.
