    do it someone else.

    Dropped cd840 off with Colin at Chevin Audio today.

    He's going to replace the clock, add a seperate supply, replace the regulators with tentlabs shunts and swap out the op-amps for something more refined.

    i'll let you know how it goes.

    can't imagine it will sound worse.



    the look on his face when he saw what was already inside a cd player from Cambridge Audio was priceless...

    Nice chap Colin. He did a clock change for me a few years back and it certainly took a layer of grain away. Jim.
