According to the local rag, the Swiss work the longest hours and get the biggest salaries in Europe. However, the Swiss are only seventh in purchasing power. Top is Germany, followed by Luxembourg...and the UK. So, although you can't say, with Harold MacMillan that you've never had it so good, you're obviously not doing too badly. I'm jealous!
