Currently a hyperspace, SME V arm, Lyra Lydian and EAR83p going for £1800.
It would trash my planar 3 but is it worth it?

yeah, if the Lydian is in good condition... I'd kinda see it like this...

£350 834p
SME V .... £650?
Lyra £200
Hyper, no arm... £900

those are just my guesstimates.

Of course its only a good deal if you really want it :)

well i'd want it but parting with money like that is as about as unpleasant as a downstairs mixup:crazy:
seller reckons it's over four grands worth.

I'd buy it were I looking for a new TT.
That's a very good price if everything is in good condition.

Hi Chris,

You would be lucky to buy an SME V for £650. You are usually looking at around a £1000 or even more.

Hi,

It would cost new the following

Hyperspace TT £2200
SME V £1696
EAR 835P (mm/mc) £825
Lyra Lydian was around £500

Hiya, I'll bow to deans wisdom on smeV prices, after all he has one, probably better on the price.

NAS turntables have gone slightly out of forum fashion, but I still enjoy mine when I spin a record (rarer for me now, I listen to more through a squeezebox)

S'pose it depends on if you listen to records enough to justify the cost.

Not exactly 'gifted' when it comes to using a camera is he - that pic of the EAR is spectacularly out of focus.
