hmmmm, good point... actually on a classic policy with about 3000 - 5000 miles and as a second car you can get insurance for about £300.. its really not that bad. On fully comp you'd get about £600, hardly big bucks when you compare it to a krell amp, which whilst it might look sexy and induce a grin, just aint the same as a well balanced Porsche. Three or four times this mileage are not uncommon on these, the bottom ends are bombproof.
