We have a Scarlet 2i4 USB audio interface. I am looking for basic software that would allow me to play 4 saved MP3's into it at one time via USB and have them appear one each at each of its four output channels. Can any one please offer a suggestion?

Any radio station automation software will allow multiple playouts. I use Myriad at our radio station, but there are plenty of others, even free. The only caveat is whether they support MP3 or only WAV or flac. A few will only do WAV, but most will so multiple formats.

I will definitely look into radio station software. Also Ableton and Amplify Studio are included as bundled software with the 2i4. There is a free version Of Cakewalk as well.

But I was looking for a dedicated multiplay because Audacity already provides for my editing needs. Years ago, someone wrote me such a program for Win 95.

Someone also suggested trying one of the free video editing packages that handles multiple audio tracks.

    Thanks for your reply.
