First post from a near Luddite; so be gentle.
I have a Music First Audio passive pre-amp that I use with a Quad QSP power amp and ESL 2905 speakers. I'm considering a subwoofer to fill-in the very bottom end, but need some help regarding how this might work (connect) and some suggestions of what subs might suit this 2-channel setup (budget <£500 new/pre-owned).
The MFA pre-amp has two sets of RCA outputs and I'd like to have the sub volume controlled by the MFA pre-amp (if that is possible).
I've read a bit and spoken to a couple of hi-fi shops, but I'm just not getting it.
Any help would be gratefully received.
