I am not sure which thread this should be as it covers many different areas.

I want to able to use my PDA for internet access while on the train. The PDA has no WIFI support but does have IrDA support and some software for connecting to the internet.

My Sony Erricson K300 also had IrDa and it has internet access, is there any way I can get my PDA to talk to my Sony? I have a Palm M130.

I am guessing I would need some kind of proxy software on my mobile phone which will tranmist the TCP/IP data via the IrDA port.

Is this possible or am I dreaming?

Edit I know it will be slow, but its better than nothing.
