Is my considered opinion of the naim CD that came with HFC. It's probably also my opinion of the Linn one from a couple of months back, but I've not bothered to listen to it...

most of it is indeed noodly jazz lite however there are some good bits if you like that sort of thing. having known the full horror of wagners ring cycle ANYTHING is better than that so my standards may in fact be artificially low.
    cheers

I'd agree it doesn't light my fire, though the guitar track 'shape of my heart' sounded nice as I flicked through on the way in to work this morning.

Oh Shit I liked it as well, I'm nearing 1000 posts and cause of this little slip up am gonna lose out on the wire brush and dettol initiation, bugger.

The first track is particularly good, I was even gonna take them up on the offer and get the Fioriocone guy's albie for a fiver.

The first four tracks of the Linn one were ok but the rest although pants is just not MCOT

was this wagner bloke in the circus, riding his cycle in the ring :D

No you're all slagging off the cd and I kinda liked it, and I so much wanted to be part of the gang without having to buy meadowlarks.

It's not that bad. I quite like the first track. What do you expect for free?

Which one is it? We don't get the comics out in the boondocks. Mind you I've got all the Naim samplers except the Allegri Quartet 50th Anniversary and they all get played occaisionally. Usually late in the evening.
