Beautifully finished in a choice of hand selected real wood veneer finishes, the side ported cabinet of Proac Response D18 has been heavily damped to control resonances and mass loaded for optimum stability and floor coupling. Side porting makes the Proac Response D18 much easier to position close to walls without upsetting the bass presentation.
The mid bass driver has Proac's powerful EXCEL magnet system to drive the 165mm cone featuring an acrylic phase plug - the resulting sound quality is truly stunning. Deep, controlled bass coupled to a transparent, liquid midrange and delicate, soaring high registers.
Audiophile quality crossover components wired with oxygen free copper cable enables a high degree of transparency from the Proac Response D18.
With the ability to match amplifier power outputs of 20W to 180W and a decent sensitivity, Proac Response D18 will work in a wide range of systems to deliver an amazingly satisfying sound
