Kev what size room have you been using them in ? I've got proac d28s have have just moved into a 19 x 18 square lounge. Been thinking about Wilson Sophias but these aren't out of the question although still outside of my budget.

I've only got a small lounge at 15 x 13 but this doesn't cause any problems especially with the side porting. (Like your D28's).
