Well very nearly, the same drive units,
Mega studio style monitor, with the musicality and build quality of Proac
1/2 the size of the response 4s and half the drive units, same big sound and lovely midrange. Being driven easily via 18 watts of single ended triodes.
They are Proac Studio 3s, one pair of, grills inc.
ATC 9" bass
ATC 4" mid dome
Scanspeak tweeter.
The finest drive units in the world?
They sound superb, come in excellent condition, walnut veneer with stands inclusive, I am not sure what to ask, and consequently I am open to offers.
As you can see the cabinet is not a glued wood, but a screwed baffle, a la Harbeth and Rogers.
ATC have told me that these speakers have Alnico magnets, so whoa!
If these are 1/2 a response 4, that puts them £6000 new, so s/h, anything up to £3000, . I am willing to accept a LOT less.
£800 £800 £800
not bad for response 4s
. They are a VERY serious loudspeaker from a superb manufacturer, and someone could be in for a bargain. (they are genuine Proacs and not a clone)
