Quad 303 listening test

    After a long wait, I got my Quad 303 back from the shop with new caps and essentially new left and right channel cards (see earlier thread). Happy to say it's in full working order!

    I thought it would be interesting to compare this amp with my other unrevised Quad 303, so I made a binaural recording of each amp in the same listening position, same music (vinyl) and same preamp setting. To listen, you'll need to use a good pair of headphones with left and right channels correctly aligned - the files are in 48kHz 24bit wav format.

    Anyone hazard to guess which file is of the revised amp?:

    One file should have the ID 339 and the other 340. Let me know if there's a problem with this file sharing mechanism, I've never used it before - but it seems to be working.
