Quad 77 Remote Control

Can anyone advise me where to obtain/beg/borrow/steal a Quad 77 Remote control. Mine has a faulty display which is dead but the display panel isn't manufactured anymore. The rest of the control works fine except I won't know if I am accessing and changing the desired items in sub-menus etc. without the display.

 

eBay is probably the only place now where you'll be able to get an original remote control.

I also just came across this:-

It's nothing like the original, but is claimed to work, and at the price might be worth a punt.

Thanks Sergeaouckland, I saw that ad too but I think though their RC could access top-level functions such as Radio, CD Player etc. it wouldn't be able to access and control sub-menus. Even if it did, I would be flying blind as without the Control unit to RC bi-directional communication of the original, I wouldn't know where I was or what I was changing. Shall keep fingers crossed about finding an original RC as I love my Quad set up, with the 2905 Electrostatics. Chris Lud
