Sold: Quad ESL-988
Cannot quite believe I am doing this.... but here goes
. Having taken the decision to downsize on the speakers so the family room can once again be a family room, I reckon there is not much point in these sitting in the garage for several years when someone else could be enjoying them. When I can get the room back I'll find another 2nd hand pair -or whatever else has come along in however many years it will be!
Anyway, a pair of magnificent Quad ESL-988s in Antique finish - much more interesting than plain black. The latest version of the classic Quad ESL.
Shipping will be problematic as boxes are 110 x 43 x 84 cm and weigh 22Kg each. So collection preferable or may be able to deliver within a few hours of Edinburgh, or meet halfway provided you can fit them in your vehicle. Courier will be expensive and willl need to be fully insured so would rather not unless you know someone reliable.
Looking for £2100... cost new is £3600. They are only 20 months old, and I have original boxes, spikes etc. Please PM for any details.
