Recommendation: their latest album, The Bairns, is bloody brilliant. Well recorded piano, voice and percussion playing some lovely melodies and some of the most inventive arrangements I have heard in the genre for a long time.

Maybe in a couple of places they've gone just a touch OTT with the studio gimmickry, but this is easily forgivable as most of the time the arrangements are touched by genius.

Saw them live a while ago and would agree with all of the above.

Even if like me "finger in the ear " folkiness gives you the willies they are so much better than that.
