Radio, Live Transmission - XFM comes to Manchester

At long last I can switch the radio on and find Joy Division or the Editors instead of the usual Britney Spears trash.

The only station I can pick up which is slightly indie is the Revolution but that is an Oldham based station so its not very good reception where I live.

 

That's because us North Manchester types don't want South Manchester Jessies listening in.

 

They've got some pretty big names lined up to DJ too, haven't they? Andy Rourke, Clint Boon and Tony Wilson I seem to recall seeing all have shows on the station.

What are the Editors like? Haven't heard anything of theirs, other than quite a bit of hype around the album.

Don't worry he wasn't on the final list of DJ's nore was Terrable Christian.

Andy Rourke and Clint Boon are playing though.
