Records for sale

Morning Dave

Records have just arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and the condition of the vinyl is .....well....just the best I have bought from anywhere

Thanks Dave

Andy

Cheers Andy - apologies again for the delay.

Would it be possible to mark which records have been sold and which have not please? I'd love to put in a few requests but I'll be damned keeping up with what everyone else has/hasn't and may or may not have bought.

Now updated. I have another large lot to list soon as well.

Any advice on overseas postage still appreciated.

l'm still keen hint hint ;)

Dave,

l will take this lot please, can you PM postage cost to Australia and payment method (paypal would be best)

Thanks,
Mondie

I have still not found any decent courier prices. It would cost about £35 to send this lot to Europe, let alone Australia using Parcelforce etc

Have you checked out interparcel.com?

I've used them quite a few times to arrange for a carrier, normally DHL, to ship all sorts of items. It is actually cheaper to book through Interparcel than to book direct with DHL!

As a rule of thumb I have found that any parcel under 2kg is cheaper using Royal Mail, over 2kg DHL booked via Interparcel. Parcelforce have always proved too expensive when I have checked them out.

The only problem when using a carrier, compared with using the Post Office, is that you need to be at home for the carrier to collect the parcel, unless you live near the carriers depot.

Since I've got few vinyls between the posts here, I can confirm now that they have been sent by Royal mail (1st class?) and with prices 4.50 for first LP and 1-1.50 per additional (within Europe, dunno about the rest of the world). 35 pounds from UK to Belgium is a bit too much for me (converted to EUR it would make it even worse). there's also a thread in hifi wigwam on courier/parcel services from UK which might be helpful: http://www.hifiwigwam.com/view_forum.php?id=5
